James W. Bianchi, Chief of Police
The Sandwich Police Department is led by Chief James W. Bianchi. Prior
to assuming the role as Chief of Police, Chief Bianchi retired as the
Lieutenant of Investigations for the Orland Park, Illinois Police Department
after 28 years of proud service. Chief Bianchi strives to grow the Sandwich
Police Department into a progressive, well trained, and well equipped
modern law enforcement agency consisting of individuals that aren't merely
coworkers, but a family that works towards a common goal.
The Sandwich Police Department
serves the citizens of the City of Sandwich as well as our guests who
pass through, shop, and play in our community on a daily basis. Our staff
is dedicated to serving and protecting all who we come in contact with
on a daily basis. We diligently work in cooperation with our fellow citizens
and law enforcement agencies to provide professional community policing
services.
